Welcome to Should I Cover  My Gray? And Other Existential Questions.

Sang one of the greatest icons of her generation, "Life is a mystery. Everyone must stand alone." 

Well, apologies to Madonna, but I don't think we all have to stand alone. In fact, I think life's mysteries are better off explored together. To make it through our very confusing world during this super challenging time, it helps to have others to connect with to make sense of it all and to laugh and cry with. 

 

My mom and I are both the person on a plane or in line at the grocery store to whom complete strangers choose to tell their life stories. It seems we both appear to be approachable, non-judgemental, and good listeners. The strangers are right. We are all those things.

I've decided to parlay this fun fact about myself into this blog. 

To tackle life's BIG and small questions with humor, heart, sarcasm, joy, anger; basically all the emotions.
